        Invoice

Bill written by a seller of goods or services and submitted to the purchaser for payment.

A document, issued by a person or company, indicating to the recipient the amount of money owed to that person or company for goods and/or services supplied. When a number of transactions occur during a month between companies regularly, it is usual for a summary of invoices submitted to be tendered on a statement at the end of the month for overall settlement.
