        Nominated adviser

Exchange-approved adviser for AIM companies. AIM companies must retain a nominated adviser at all times.

An exchange-approved adviser which helps companies to list on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), and which continues to advise them after flotation. Many AIM companies are small and managed by directors who have no experience of running a public company. Having Nomads to advise them is meant to:ensure that the companies" dealing with the Stock Exchange are handled properly, andmake it less likely that poor quality companies come to AIM (because Nomads would not bring a company to market that could endanger their reputation in the City)
